Head's Message
Polymers have replaced traditionally used materials such as glass, metal and ceramics due to their lightness, ease of processing and low cost, and they appear in many areas in our daily lives, from floor covering to electric switch, from window profile to electric cable, from kitchen utensils to bottles. The production and use of polymers, which are so widely used, require expertise. The Polymer Technology Program, which provides education under the name of Materials and Materials Processing Technologies, educates graduates who know the properties, processing methods, molding and usage areas of rubber and plastic materials. While many of our graduates work with titles such as technician or production manager in plastics production companies, some of them have succeeded in establishing their own businesses.
